“wild spontaneity & traces of divinity
woven in the fabric of our bones”
Brianna Barnes is a folk-rock singer-songwriter fascinated by the fables, myths, and stories of the human wrestle with the Divine. She seeks to create expansive and explorative ways to imagine songs about life’s biggest questions - coloring outside the lines and making room at the table for curiosity, doubt, and wonder. Her music is an invitation into the mystery & magic of the human search for hope.
Barnes’ Debut EP, Hierophanies: Manifestations of the Sacred, released on June 5, 2021.
Her sound, dancing between gritty Folk-Rock and introspective Singer-Songwriter with an Americana flare, has been likened to Brandi Carlile, Sara Bareilles, Grace Potter, and The Civil Wars.
The 8-song EP featuring all original material with arrangements by James Rushin, was recorded with 4X Grammy Award Winning Engineer, Denise Barbarita, at MONOLisa Studios in NYC and produced by Morgan Entertainment Group along with 59 generous Kickstarters.
